We ask for your cooperation in pre-registering your staff to help us identify "legitimate" media sources.

Northern California Cherry Blossom Festival will issue a maximum of TWO media credentials to each media outlet. Reporters and photographers must be on assignment for a newspaper, magazine, radio station, or entertainment/travel related web site. Daily TV news crews doing a live feed at the festival will be dealt with on a case-by-case basis.

Please include the title of the person submitting the request including contact information, what days they are interested in covering, and what are their assigned duties (photo, reporter, etc). All media must provide copy of editorial if requested by the Festival.

We ask that all requests be received by Thursday, April 12, 2012.

Please note if your publication, radio station, or news outlet feels your audience is interested in post event coverage, we would expect you to cover it pre-event and will be looking to see that advance coverage when we evaluate your request.

ONLY PRE-REGISTERED, WORKING MEDIA WILL BE ISSUED CREDENTIALS. Credentials will not be issued to guests, family members, or media personnel not currently on assignment. Freelance photographers and writers must be on assignment for a specific publication.

All media credentials will be mailed out before the festival begins, or can be picked up in the information booth on festival days.

Because of the large number of requests, all applications will be verified for legitimacy.

We reserve the right to deny any application based on its relevancy to the Festival.
